Borut Fonda
Doctor in Sports Science, Master's in Kinesiology and Exercise Science
Biography
Dr. Borut Fonda is a renowned expert in bike fitting, a biomechanics consultant with his own company, Fonda Sport Performance, and the lead scientist at absoluteBLACK. A former semi-professional cross-country cyclist, he has over 10 years of experience in biomechanical optimization of cycling.
With a bachelor’s degree in Physical Conditioning from the University of Ljubljana and a master’s in Exercise Physiology from the University of Primorska, Dr. Fonda earned his PhD from the University of Birmingham, UK, with research focusing on biomechanics, motor control, and ergonomics during cycling.
As the director of the S2P Cycling Science program and the founder of Forped, a brand known for its innovative power pedals used by top cycling institutions worldwide, he has designed the award-winning adjustable saddle, patented multiple times. He has worked and continues to work with several elite cyclists, including Tadej Pogačar in his pursuit of winning two Grand Tours and several other cycling monuments.

Courses
A one-day course covering the basics of cycling biomechanics from a movement perspective. Designed for 5-10 people (in-person), it includes:

Biography
Niels Heuvelman, owner and founder of Cyclefit, shares his journey and experience in the exciting world of bike fitting. His journey in this field began in 1994, and since then, he has dedicated his career to perfecting the fitting of bicycles for cyclists of all levels.
With a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Delft University of Technology, Niels has applied his technical knowledge to improve comfort, performance, and efficiency in cycling. Since 2014, he has been educating others in bike fitting, training over 500 bike fitters worldwide.
His mission is to provide personalized fittings that optimize each cyclist’s experience, combining science, technology, and a passion for cycling. Join them and discover how a proper bike fit can transform your pedaling.
Courses
A two-day in-person course ideal for those who want to delve into bike fitting. It is held four times a year and allows participants to independently perform bike adjustments. Its goal is to acquire knowledge and skills to perform dynamic bike fittings and learn how to start a bike fitting studio, including necessary tools, technology, and processes.
A one-day course for users of motion capture technology. Its goal is to perfectly interpret motion capture values and make correct decisions to improve bike fitting, as well as explain to clients why motion capture values are not definitive in specific situations.

Gerardo Lozano Real

Biography
Gerardo Lozano is the founder and CEO of Clínica Podotec, as well as being an outstanding Doctor in Sports Podiatry and a professional in biomechanics applied to cycling.
With a degree in Podiatry from the University of Extremadura, Gerardo has specialised in the treatment of sportsmen and women, particularly cyclists, for many years at his clinic.
As a sports podiatrist and biomechanist, he has worked with numerous World Tour cyclists and has collaborated with teams such as Israel Cycling Academy, Team Manzana Postobón (Colombia) and Caja Rural Seguros RGA, among others. In addition to his clinical work, Gerardo is also a professor of biomechanics applied to cycling at several universities, including Miguel Hernández University of Elche, UCAM of Murcia, Catholic University of Valencia San Vicente Mártir and La Salle University (Madrid).

Biography
Gérémie Degeilh is a former top-level cyclist who specialises in cyclist biomechanics and 3D postural studies. He currently works as a Bikefitter and trainer, with recognised experience in the treatment of pathologies related to cycling. With many years of experience, he works closely with various health professionals, offering his services to a wide range of clients, from amateur cyclists to World Tour professionals, including teams such as Israel Premier Tech.
Thanks to his practical experience and rigorous approach, Gérémie also participates in training programmes to share his knowledge with other professionals in the sector.

Alejandro Bayo
Graduated in Podiatry from the University of Barcelona
Biography
Alejandro Bayo is the founder and clinical director of the Centre d’Estudis del Peu Alejandro Bayo in Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona). With over 20 years of experience in sports podiatry and applied biomechanics, Alejandro is a leading professional in the study and treatment of foot pathology, especially in Running and Football.
Graduated in Podiatry from the University of Barcelona, Alejandro began his journey in 2003, supported by his wife Yolanda and mentored by his friend and guide, Dr. Jaume Albareda. With him, Alejandro gained a profound understanding of anatomy and developed a unique approach to patient care. Over time, he began studying Osteopathy to deepen his knowledge of the human body’s behavior in pathological processes, discovering that the foot played a crucial role in most pathologies of the lower extremity and the spine.
His passion for foot biomechanics led him to meet Carles Vergés, head of the Podiatry studies at the University of Barcelona, marking a turning point in his career. Since then, the treatment of foot pathology has become a fundamental part of his life and daily practice.
Throughout his career, Alejandro has worked with elite clubs and athletes, including Unión Colomense de Atletismo, UE Sant Andreu, the ACB first team Joventut de Badalona, and, currently, with Industrias Santa Coloma (First National Division of Futsal). He has also taught classes at the University of Barcelona and conducted various lectures and courses.
True to his principles of honesty and professionalism, Alejandro has incorporated the best technology for more accurate and effective diagnoses. A lifelong learner and self-taught, he continues to grow as a professional and person while dedicating time to his wonderful family, consisting of his wife Yolanda and their two children, to whom he gives all the time he can.
