Ergonomics
Evaluate the ergonomics of workstations in a simple and reliable way.
What does it consist of
The iSen system can work with a very varied number of sensors: typically from 1 sensor, which is the simplest configuration, to 17, which is the entire body.
The software offers a real-time 3D visualization of the complete or partial skeleton. It is possible to integrate a real video camera.
Finally, the automatic report generator allows you to generate a document with the results of the analysis with one click.
Available protocols
- Individual joints
- Back
- Arms and shoulders
- Complete upper train
- Full body
If you want, you can take a look at the different configurations clicking the following link. Also, we can create new ad-hoc protocols if you are interested.

The data, collected by wireless sensors (WiFi) at a frequency between 25 and 400 Hz, offers the information on screen and ready to export:
- Raw sensor data (quaterns, gyroscope, accelerometer, etc)
- Graphs with biomechanical curves (for example: knee flexion over time)
- Event sequences during capture
The automatic report generator allows you to generate a document with the results of the analysis with one click.

- CPU: Intel Core i5. It is highly recommended to have a 4-cores processor.
- RAM: 8 GB.
- HD: 2 GB for installation. You’ll need more space for the captures database.
- Network card: 802.11n or 802.11ac WiFi card (for wireless use), Ethernet card (for wired connection). The network port used cannot be shared with your Internet connection.
- OS: Microsoft Windows 10.
- Mid-range NVIDIA graphic card compatible with DirectX 12 recommended.
- If you plan to add real-time video with IDS uEye or Logitech BRIO cameras, you will need a dedicated true USB 3.0 port for video camera (no HUBs, not shared with USB 2.0 devices).
Yes. The information gathered by the sensors could be exported to a CSV file (both rotation data -quaternions- and raw data -accelerometer, magnetometer…-). You can also export biomechanical curves (i.e.: the entire knee flexion-extension angle over time)
We have also developed plug-ins to receive or stream data to third-party software or devices.
The system works through a Wi-Fi network. Wi-Fi networks have a range that’s limited by the environment. A typical wireless router in an indoor arrangement might have a range of 50 meters (160 ft) or less.
Yes. You can easily plug a video camera and, moreover, iSen has been synchronized with many other devices. Check out a few options here – integrations section.
Typically a webcam, for instance, a Logitech c920 or brio, but also a high-speed camera such as IDS UI-3240LE-C-HQ for a higher frequency and better resolution.
